1.    A special date in your country’s history
·         what is its significance
·         what were the important people involved in it
·         Also, say why is it important to the history of your country.

Bright-Way’s sample answer     One thing as an Indian citizen that I can be proud of is our rich history. To pick up one particular Date from our past is a tedious task. However, to answer this question today, I would like to talk about the time in between 1930 to 1947 when freedom movement reached its peak and India attained its             independence and we got it on 15th August 1947.I like to talk about this date because of the impact it has created in shaping the present day India. Without this freedom, we could have never enjoyed the life that we enjoy as a free nation. It was the time, when the whole country came together as one unit for the sake of the country, leaving behind their regions, religions, languages and castes. All united for one purpose. Can you imagine, there were no cell phones or T.V; yet , everyone was involved in this mass movement. Farmers, poets, writers all came together to compel the Britishers to leave India. This date also reminds us of the unmatched power of the youth and their love for the country. They were just unstoppable, willing to even lay down their lives for the sake of the country. The more they were suppressed the more their spirits rouse to set India free.I wish I could go back in time and be the part of such a cause. Whenever, I read about this era I am filled with patriotism and have a desire to do something for my country.

He gave this speech in our school auditorium. There were about one thousand students, staff and parents attending the annual function day. The title of the speech was “Power of Education” In this speech that he gave to us he spoke about the importance of education and how education can change our lives. The speech lasted for about 25 minutes and He got very emotional during the speech. There was a pin-drop silence and nobody moved from their seats till the speech got over.
He gave an example from his own life as how he struggle to get himself educated and  he had to walk everyday for about 30 kilometers to reach his school and then he became the first person in the whole district who was able to read and write. Although I have read several books but, here I would like to talk about a very popular book entitled “The monk who sold his Ferrari” by the famous writer Robin Sharma that I read recently. This book is one of the best seller of all times. Robin Sharma is a motivational guru, speaker and a mentor who is very popular all over the world. The story in this book revolves around a character who is a rich and popular lawyer who is busy in his life like any other person in today’s world, practicing law in United States. Like any other individual, he is in a rat race for earning more and more wealth without caring much for his own health. One day he suddenly has a heart attack and he is about to die but life gives him another chance so, he quits his job and moves to the East in search of peace and new life. And further the book gives details as to how he meets some sage and learns about ancient methods to keep himself mentally and physically fit, his life takes a complete U turn. The life of this lawyer completely changes and he becomes physically and mentally fit and healthy following some ancient eastern practices.
I like this book because it gives us many suggestions as to how we can survive in a very fast paced moving world. For example one of the advice given in this book is that if we get up one hour early everyday in one year we can have 365 hours extra in our lives. Moreover, it talks about breathing exercises to live a stress free life and maintaining our relationship in office as well as at home. Ok, every now and then I have to go to a mechanic to repair some electronic item. Here I'd like to talk about an Apple phone which was recently broken accidentally. It is grey in colour, having 128 Gigabytes of storage memory of model iPhone 7. I have been using this phone for 6 months until last week it was in a mint condition. However, unfortunately, when I was taking bath, it fell down in a bath tube as I had just talked to my friend a few minutes ago and kept it nearby only. I tried to search out in bath tube, but it took me 2-3 minutes as water was totally soapy. It was the icing on the cake when I picked it up, due to smooth and wet palm it fell down on the edge of wall and door, which cause to broke the display. Then I finished the bath and immediately made a beeline to the Apple Store. I explain all that had happened with the phone to a technician, but when he said about repair cost I felt like a highway robbery, you know, he asked for 10,000 INR to replace the new display. Because of expensive charges, I came out from the Apple Store and looked for any local mechanic on the internet. Finally, I found one and I headed toward his shop. He agreed to repair the display by changing it but no warrant in almost half price. I also agreed because I had no option for it. Overall, I felt worried initially when I went to the Apple Store, but later on, I felt relaxed and peaceful when it successfully repaired at a cheaper price and mobile was also looked as new phone.

My home town Bathinda is a developing at a great pace. In the last few years many new Building have come up in my city. Every time I noticed these building. They seem to be more attractive than the building that I have seen before. One such development that has caught my attention is a newly build Mall in the heart of my city. This building has been built few months ago. It is a four storey building.
You cannot miss it If you ever come to my home town Bathinda .The architect has designed it the beautifully. He has used a lot of glass in the building. There is an underground parking due to which we cannot see any vehicle standing in front of the building.
So it makes it look very spacious. Moreover there is a green cover all around the building which makes it environment friendly. Then, because of the use of glass natural light comes directly inside the building. So ever if we are in the ground floor it looks very airy and full of light. Inside the building the interior designer has done a great job. The building looks to be very modern. It has many shops in it, so one can easily buy all the things from nail cutter to refrigerator under single roof. It has been painted with light colors and has a central cooling system. Thus I can say this is one building which has all the modern facilities. I got a chance to go inside this hotel when one of my friends celebrated his birthday at this hotel. It is a 3 star hotel named comfort inn I was so impressed with the design of this building. I was also told that the building is earthquake resistant and has all safety measures.I am happy that such buildings are coming up in my hometown. Giving a gift on some occasions, such as birthday, anniversary, wedding, is considered as one of the most important traditions in my country. I have received special gifts many times, but here I'd like to talk about a time when I was gifted in the form of money. It was my grandpa who constantly used to give me money as a gift.I can vividly recall from my 6th birthday until 15th birthday, my grandpa used to give me money. Even though his intention of giving money was buying a gift as per my choice, I never spent it, rather I saved it in order to buy something big for my grandpa. However, after saving money for a few years, he passed away and whatever I had thought all my plans ruined. If I can understand him, he used to give me money as a gift because he could have thought that his chosen gift I will not like. Perhaps, his intention was to allow me for buying what I love. Or maybe he might have thought that I need money for personal experiences. However, it wasn't the case, you know, all money that I saved I finally donated to welfare charity.Overall, I can say that I will never forget my grandpa's gift how valuable was it for me. It is the first planned city of India after independence. Chandigarh is the cleanest and the happiest city of India according to two different surveys held in 2010 and 2015.It is also the first smoke ¬free city in the country.
